This land is prime for the droves of white tail deer that can be found roaming the aisles of cornfields year round. Many hunters travel to this part of the state with the chance to bring down the largest big game hunt in the midwest - the highly sought after male white tail deer. Antlers of trophy bucks have garnered the walls of many skilled hunters for hundreds of years. However, there is a legend of one particular deer that has never been brought down. A buck that seems to be spotted every season for generations. His neck is oak-thick and strong from supporting the impressive spread of antlers that sit atop his head. But those that say they’ve managed to steal a glimpse of him describe a unique feature that makes this buck truly one of a kind - his antlers seem to shine in the NE Iowa sun - the king of big game hunt with his crown of gold. Hunters have given this legendary buck the name “Bucky.” Bucky is now the trophy hunt of the Battle for Bucky Team Scramble. Wrestlers battle as Bucky awaits the team with the highest winning percentage to claim him as their own.
